Dear Harry,
Wow, what an awesome course this has been especially as a brand new Advanced Intern!!! What an experience and so much learning. I, like everyone else in the room, was very moved by your talk (it left a big impression!!!) It gave me lots of pieces around inspiring students to add to the numerous other pieces I have obtained this week. I was especially moved by the story of your friend with cancer because we, Jen and I had a similar experience loosing Emily (our 15-year-old daughter) in 2005. She too, never took the victim viewpoint, never complained, in fact, she was strong for us. Consequently she left us feeling how privileged we are to have had the gift of her as a daughter and all that she taught us.
if it werent for her, we may not have come to Avatar (who really knows) and that is the most precious gift anyone could give us. We are such lucky ducks, and so very grateful. I am so glad to be invited into the Advanced Intern domain to contribute much more to this growing creation. I look forward to working more closely with the team again soon, when we get home. Thank you for all the love and support from you and Avra.
